New Horizons Developmental Program

New Horizons Developmental Program (NHDP) is a holistic solution for children with specialneeds, It covers all developmental and behavioral concerns and is focused on the functional outcomes. New Horizons Child Development Centre has worked with more than 20,000 children with special needs since 2003, and NHDP has helped children to achieve outcomes faster.

At New Horizons Child Development Centre, we believe that every child can do better and can keep achieving his/her age-appropriate development, if provided with the right support at the right time.

In children with neuro developmental and behavioural problems, this is imperative. Worldwide, many different interventions, therapies and medications are practised. They are usually directed towards managing’ the child, often keeping him busy with purposeless activities or repetitive speech. This has scant relevance to daily human life and though the parents may feel there is progress, it is hardly towards making the child integrate and do well independently in society.

Unfortunately, the true impact of this is felt later in childhood or adolescence when it becomes impossible to manage the child.

Frequntly Ask Questions

  • Q. Why does my child need NHDP'?

    Your child has been assessed by the Developmental Pediatrician and has noted the concerns with the child's developmental and behavioural aspects. The Developmental Pediatrician may prescribe the NHDP" to address the concerns observed and to enable the child's step-by-step development.

  • Q. How long will it take to see improvements in my child?

    NHDP focuses on the child's progress in his/her normal development. The child will show gradual and well-defined progress in achieving milestones one after another. Every child has his/her own pace of progress and the Developmental Pediatrician will share the same every month with you.

  • Q. What are we supposed to do at home to help the child do better?

    New Horizons believes that parents play a very crucial role in the child's progress, and you will be guided by the Developmental Pediatrician and the Clinical Head to work with the child at home.
